Out of State Chance Into SUNY: Binghamton?

Hello out there, just wondering if anyone here could give me some advice as to my odds of getting into SUNY Binghamton?

Here are some numbers/data:

Male
Out of state: Virginia
SAT: 1750
Critical Reading/Math: 1200
Ethnicity: White/asian
Extracirriculars: High school hockey, soccer, track, piano
Awards: Honors Program all 4 years of high school (not much of a feat these days shucks)

Not going to lie; I was enticed to apply by U.S. News and World Report. Heh but anyways, can anyone out there give a rough estimate?

Thanks a million!

Only 14% attend from OOS. Your scores are in range but not outstanding. What is your GPA and did you take the most rigorous courses? Those are weighted as much as scores.

I know, I know. I’m not exactly the brightest bulb in the pack but it was worth the attempt.

My unweighted gpa is a 3.5.
And all honors courses for 9th and 10th grade. 2 ap courses for junior year, 4 ap courses for senior year.

You will get but itsnot worth the out of state tution. I’m from NY.

You would get in- I agree with Soccer, it’s not worth the out of state tuition. =</p>

Why isn’t it worth the OOS rate? It’s a lot lower than OOS rate for every other state in the country? For NJ, Suny OOS is about the same as the instate rates for Rutgers or TCNJ.
OOS for UVA, UMich, Berkeley are all about $30,000 for tuition. $11,000 for tuition is cheap.

Really? I’m glad for your in-state knowledge soccer and chance…and it’s roughly 13k last time I checked

I agree with you marymac; I’m somewhat middle class and that sounds like it could be manageable. Thanks for the advice everyone, and happy holidays
