I want to go to Baruch College for Bussiness Administration/Management, but i am an out-of-state student. Not including my need for a place to live (ill work on that later) how much will the Tuition actually cost in total???

Out of state tuition rate for Baruch is $360 per credit. If you take 18 credits per term your tuition will be $6480 per term

and by term you mean semester right?

Sorry, yes I meant by the semester (my kid attends a school that uses the word terms instead of semesters )

Look like CUNY has not gotten on the high OOS tuition bandwagon yet.

You really want to go to Baruch? Even if though you're out-of-state and it's a commuter school?

Thats why ill be getting an apartment...it will be better than living here with my parents going to Delaware County Community College.

ok...it looks like it says 24 credits in total for business admin (a year) when i look at that page, am i reading it wrong??? Cause if it is only 24 credits tuition will be 8640 for the whole year??? Then i could put some money into a studio apartment in either brooklyn or the bronx and do this for around 22,000 a year vs the 45000 a year at NYU/Fordham/Pace...

Is it harder to get into Baruch when applying early decision? Because only 12 applied and 3 got in early decision. So would it be easier to get in by applying regular decision???

Not necessarily. The number of students who apply early is way too tiny compared to the number of students who apply regular to make a statistically sound conclusion. As we students of statistics say, "fail to reject..."

i think u would be the only out of state student at baruch

IronM- There is a link to Housing on the Baruch website. It's an 800 # to Educational Housing Services. I have no clue how successful they are in finding apt's- but you may want to check it out.
To us New Yorkers, Baruch probably has one of the most solid reputations for business. But as there are no residence halls, it does make it more complicated for OOS kids to attend. Good luck!

why not go to Delaware?
