I live in California and I'm interested in UW but since I'm out of state do I have a lower chance of getting in?

Many state universities (UW included I believe) have been accepting more out of state students because they need the money and will get more from OOS than in-state.

So I would think being OOS would actually increase your chances or have no affect, but not negatively impact them.

This is the Fall 2011 statistics. I believe if you look at domestic non-WA applicants, 62% got in.
