hi, i'm from california and i was wondering how accepting the people at CU are of those from california

There are more kids from california, perticularly norcal, than anywhere else in the country if i remember correctly. Well over a third of the school is from out of state, and they won't have any sort of problem or discrimination against you for being from cali. Unless you're like constantly talking **** about colorado and saying how much better california is and saying "hellla" all the time and driving around in a giant SUV with a huge NOR*CAL sticker on the back you won't have any problems. ill be coming there next year from cali too so see you there maybe.

haha, ok, do you think that the colorado and california population mix socially or are californians friends with californians and visa verse? or is this not a big problem to worry about, also do you know how competitive it is compared to a UC in california?

from what ive heard and seen, everyone seems to get along and they dont discriminate who their friends with based on what state they're from. to get into boulder out of state is easier than to get into most of the UC's in state because boulder wants money and an out of state student will give them a lot of money. its probably comprable to ucsc or davis in terms of academics.
