Overdoing it?

I'm applying to Brown and well, I've already had my boss send a supplemental recommendation (I had two professors send their recommendations already), and I just sent out an update letter to show them my progress since my initial application.

Would it be okay to send another supplemental reference from another professor (not pertaining to academic courses, but I work for her in the tutoring center so...) I didn't even ask her to write me one, but she offered so I thought I might take her up on it.

Am I overdoing it? Would Brown think I'm just plain annoying?

Try to read between the lines on their application instructions. Some schools discourage extra materials. Some actively encourage it. Some are probably neutral. If it's not discouraged, maybe she can actually say that it was her own idea to send it.

I've read somewhere, where they will not accept "big" materials like music recordings or paintings, that if those are received they will just forward it to the correct department, but letters can't hurt... will they? it only takes a minute to read a one page letter anyway

I wouldn't send another recomendation. It will probably be repetitive about how great you are.

they already have alot of work shifting through all the required forms sent to them. They probably don't need your 3 extra letters. It's called spam mail, lol.

That's my opinion anyways. However I'm pretty sure they wouldn't put it against you if you feel compelled to send more stuff in...
