<p>My S is at ND on his over night visit. His choice is down to UC Berk and ND. He leans toward the UC, but wanted to give ND a look to (so no regrets down the road). He attended two classes, took the tour, and basically wandered around immersing himself. We have also been contacted by the ND Alums and invited to the local admitted student dinner. None of the other colleges have down this kind of follow up, so if he chooses Cal, it is not because ND didnt show interest. One dividend is that his sister (HS Class of 11) is now asking when she gets to visit.</p>

ND does, in my opinion, an excellent job of providing support-a type of support that we just did not see existing at other colleges when our own student was applying several years ago. ND seemed to be the college that stood out as being better organized as well. Best wishes for the decision!</p>
<p>Well, he went to the Chem Class today. If anything will sell him it will be that class. In our house we are in two camps. The Bears, consisting of my Wife, her sister and husband, and the Domers, consisting of me and my DD. Interesting point is that none of us went to either school.</p>
<p>Well if not my S then my D. If nothing else if was a nice trip for him. From what he has been telling me, they sure make you feel at home there</p>

<p>I was also sleeping over the night of the 16th to the 17th, went to a bio-chem and physics class, the tour, and also hanged out in the campus. the visit sealed it for me. If any other prospective students are reading this, please, please visit and spend a night before you say no to ND. I beg you not to cross ND off the list without spending a night. I do not mean that once you do you will definitely go, but you will know if it is for you. </p>

<p>Did he go to Seth Browns intro chem class? That was probably the best class I’ve ever taken. :)</p>
