First off, is anyone else overnighting at Dartmouth this fall?

I'm sleeping over on Monday Oct 17th.

What should I do while I'm there?

This is my second overnighter at a college, but my first one was on a Friday night so there was no academic things going on - just copious amounts of cheap beer and highschool-like dance parties (except with drunk nerds who can't dance and have nothing to lose but their virginities).

I'm planning on sitting in on a class, but I don't know what else there is that I should make sure to do. Any advice?

Eat a meal in Thayer or Collis, hang out and people watch. Ask your host if they know anyone in a club that you happen to be really interested in, you could talk to them or maybe even tag along for a meeting. Talk to as many people as possible.

Are the people at Dartmouth very friendly? I'm not shy, but I find it awkward to go up to strangers and ask them questions about the school, for me at least.

We love all types here at the mouth of Darts. (I'm a current student).

When I overnighted, my host took me around. It is awkward, but only if you let it get to you. The upperclassmen are SO excited about meeting freshmen, that I can only imagine how excited they'll be to meet a prospy.

yeah i went in august and loved it so much! :):) i'm doing an interview on monday morning but i don't know bout tour and infosession. i did them last time but this time i'm coming with my daad and he hasn't seen the school yet so we might do them. i guess we'll figure it out later... i need to drive 9 LONG hrs from toronto to get there on saturday though :(
