Overwhelmed in Freshman Year--way too many EC's

Colleges aren’t expecting you to know exactly what you want to do as early as your freshman year. Most kids have no idea what path they want to follow in life until college, which is why you don’t declare majors until after your sophomore year. So, you don’t have to worry about demonstrating a “clear focus” for four years, and there’s absolutely nothing bad about exploring interests. That’s what high school is FOR, and why your school offers so many ECs and classes.

Just drop the random ECs. Problem Solved

An A- is your worst grade? So that means all of your other grades are A’s?

Colleges aren’t really going to care if they see you have an A or an A+. An A- just makes your GPA go down, but an A or an A+ is a 4.0. An A- is a 3.6.

You’re a freshman. You don’t even have that busy of a schedule and you have good grades. (How the hell is an A mediocre?) So just move on with your life.
