Over the past few years I've started and managed what's essentially a 10-man business that makes around exactly 100k$/year. I myself make around 30k of that yearly profit but I was wondering how much already running a profitable smartphone application business would factor in to the people at admissions. I've read a few posts on people who were planning to start their own but none on those who alerady have their own successful one.

Would it appeal SUBSTANTIALLY to top 10 colleges? Or perhaps just be treated as an add-on to the list? Especially if I have a generally solid/meh rest of resume (top 5%/2300 SAT etc.)? Asking this for hopeful feedback because my Dad is limiting me to sending 5 applications (even if I use my own money) so I have to be very careful in my selections (don't want to waste one if I have no chance). Also I feel it would make useful discussion anyway as with this age more and more younger people are able to start their own ventures.
