So I'm starting yet another thread because I have yet another question. I hope you guys aren't getting annoyed with me! I'm just really nervous and concerned about all this college stuff.

Anyways, my most recent question concerns Oxford Scholars. On the Oxford Scholars web page, it says "No counselor nomination form is necessary for consideration at Oxford College." So does this mean they judge whether or not you are fit for OS solely on your application alone? I know for Emory Scholars that you have to write an essay about your academic interests; I can't remember where I found the link to the ES app, but I know I did a few weeks ago, and I already started working on the essay! As I am only applying to Oxford, I don't want to be wasting my time writing something that's unnecessary.

It has the essay topic and a form for the nominating official to fill out. I’m guessing Oxford Scholars don’t have to do this? If not, it’s kind of a let down, because I really liked my essay…

Go ahead and submit them. They won’t reject you because you sent in an extra couple things, but they definitely could accept you if you wrote something wonderful :)
