<p>Can you P/NP 8 out of 17 units you are taking?</p>

<p>And how would this look upon from medical schools?</p>

<p>you cannot have more than 1/3 of your units pass/np. Notice, this isn't 1/3 of classes, but 1/3 of units, which is a big difference.</p>

<p>If these classes aren't for your major/medical school, they really won't care if you take them P/NP. Don't take P/NP for your major though!</p>

<p>If they are pre reqs for med school, then you have to take them again for a letter grade. It actually looks very bad because they assume you got a C or lower. But if its not for med, then its all good.</p>

<p>is it no more than 1/3 a semester or 1/3 total?</p>
