I've uploaded a document that is the perfect review for Art History!
Basically, it's the whole course compressed into 10 pages :) (20th century art not really covered)

Art History General Characteristics and Timeline - Liz Ketner

GOOD LUCK!
And please discuss here haha

Thanks dude, my teacher is horrid and I need all the help I can get…

You’re welcome! Any predictions for the exam this year?

It’s very difficult to predict what could be on the Art History exam…try focusing on art pieces that were not covered in the past exams I guess. With over 5000 pieces to choose from I don’t know how one could accurately predict anything on this exam. The long essay might be broad though because you need to use examples beyond the European tradition excluding Egypt and the Near East.

Beyond the European tradition excluding Egypt and Near East?
We can use Egyptian art right, or am I mistaken?
Apparently, Byzantine Art would not work I know that. Islamic art are always good examples. African/Japanese Art is my favorite and probably what I am going to use.

Very awesome! Thank you! Can’t believe the exam is so close by… I have a lot of studying to do.

We’re not allowed to use pieces from Egypt or Near East for the long essay? But I loved those two places :[

So what pieces are your favorite? I really like the Augustus of Primaporta, Virgin of the Meadows, and Bernini’s David :)

You are allowed to use anything on the long essays…just make sure to include examples beyond the European tradition that don’t come from the Near East or Egypt.

WOW I am so behind on my review. I am just barely starting Northern Renaissance !
