<p>In a nutshell, I paid my enrollment deposit to NU, but I've decided not to attend because of the enormous debt I'll accumulate in enrolling. How do I tell the school I'm not going?</p>
<p>My suggestion would be call them, you may be able to tweek more Fin. Aid out of them if you're interested, and anyway its the classy way to tell them.</p>

and they agreed to refund my deposit.</p>
<p>i figured that $70,000 of debt for undergrad was too burdensome.
definitely a choice for grad school tho.</p>
