Paid summer internships (or jobs) that provide housing

Hey ya’ll, I will be a rising freshman at Yale this coming year, and I need to find a paid internship that will allow me to cover the $1650 minimum student contribution that Yale requires. I’m looking for an internship as opposed to a summer job because there are no jobs in the area that will allow me to cover my expenses while still making that $1650. I also live far away from any major city, so I need something that will either provide housing (board would be nice too) or give a high enough stipend to where I could afford some kind of stipend.

I got into Yale, so my stats and letters of rec, etc., are pretty good, and I have good work experience.

Anybody know of any programs that sound like a good fit? I am willing to do anything in any field. I would also be interested in summer work options that provide similar benefits.

The best place to check is Yale’s Career Center. There shall be career advisors to help you with paid summer internships and other questions that you might have.

Thank you so much, Christian2!

Private summer camps may be an option for you. There are many in New England that will pay that if not a little more, provide room and board, and are in remote enough areas where you won’t spend down your earnings.
