Paperback or hardcover?

<p>When purchasing textbooks, should I buy them in paperback or hardcover?
In other words, should I be more frugal or classy?</p>

<p>All up to you. Do you value money? It’s not like anyone would possibly look down on you for going with a paperback.</p>

<p>And paperbacks don’t weigh as much.</p>

<p>Paperback pros: usually cheaper, less heavy (easier to carry around)
cons: fall apart much easier, may get less money when you try to sell back your book</p>

<p>It’s all up to you. If you think you’ll be carrying around your book a lot, go with paperback. If not, hardcover usually lasts longer, but it can also be more expensive…</p>
