Pardee - Business Floor

Hey guys,

I’ll be enrolling in USC this fall, and I’m planning to choose the business floor at Pardee as my residence. Just had a few doubts I wanted to clear and I would be really thankful if a USC student/alum can answer them for me.

  1. Since Pardee consists of single sex floors, I was wondering how they split the guys and girls (7th floor are guys; 8th floor are girls?)
  2. What are the stereotypes for this floor? Are the kids too pre professional or is there a decent balance?
  3. Would you recommend choosing a business floor over a regular floor? (This is definitely subjective, but just looking for opinions)
  4. What are your general impressions of Pardee?

I’ve tried to find past threads on this topic, but I’ve come up with zilch. Since I’m an international student, I do not have the time (or $$) to visit the school and find out for myself, so I really appreciate any input fellow Trojans can offer.

Thanks,
IntlApplicant

Bump. Anyone?

My son is a business major and I thought the idea of the business floor sounded great. He wasn’t interested in it because he felt like he would be meeting so many business majors in his classes and he wanted to meet a wide variety of people with different majors. I hadn’t thought of it that way but I after he explained it that way I thought it made sense.
He ended up choosing New/North and is happy with his decision. Sorry that I can’t speak about Pardee specifically but hopefully someone else can.
Congratulations on your acceptance and welcome to USC!
