<p>Kbell - Just a tiny bit more advice to add to what you already have, make an appt with your dad to talk about this, don’t just create some spreadsheet and demand he talk about it right now. Try to put yourself in his shoes - address the concerns you think he might raise in what you put together. If he is a businessman, think like one - what is the cost vs. benefit analysis for these different schools? What does another school offer that Auburn doesn’t have? Get data on avg. class sizes, SATs/GPA of incoming class, frosh retention rates, avg. starting salary of graduates…anything that supports your case, COA less merit scholarships, honors programs, particular majors/programs avail. Explain that if you are not happy, scholarships are much more difficult to receive as a transfer. There is a website with tons of measures called college measures dot com (no space).</p>
