Hey, Not sure where to post but would love to hear from others whose kids are NYC students and who have chosen to stay in NYC during the pandemic instead of coming home. I am in this situation and go to sleep every night with worry, despite my daughter being g responsible and assuring me she is social distancing and hardly leaving her apartment. Her roommates fled weeks ago and she is enjoying g her solitude. We only live two hours away and yet I can’t convince her to get out of there. What are your thoughts? She’s an older student, (just turned 25) and a transfer after another career. Still… adds to moms anxiety. Of all places to insist on staying right now just so you can live and work remotely in your own apartment!
