If neither of my parents graduated from college will this help or hurt my chances of admission?

It will help you but not as much as someone whose parents didn’t go to college at all.

For some schools being first generation to college is a tip factor, meaning a slight help. However, be aware that schools differ in how they define first gen, for some it is if your parents did not earn a degree, for others it’s if your parents never attended college at all. College applications will not ask if you are first gen, rather if your parents attended college they ask where, when and what degree, if any, was earned. From this information, they will determine if you fit their definition of first gen.
