Parent's Weekend

4 days until FREEDOM!!!

can't wait to finally see the dang batman movie,

sheesh!

lol. batman dies. so we've been told. ;)

I know, its very sad. Why did he have to die! :(

Um, we've been told a whole lot, basically all the critical points of the movie... but I forgot most of them =D

Yeah, batman is definitely on the schedule. Our cadre told us everyone dies.

Oh, you cadet types are all alike. Batman batman batman.... mine want to see it too. snore. Doesn't anyone want to attend a nice opera? Perhaps enjoy a lovely brie with, mayhap, a novella written by one of the Bronte sisters?

no, not really :D

That's how batman's parents got killed! :(

Raimius, and it would only be good deep sybolism had they killed him there too. Shame, I could have written my next english paper on that. No, they had to go and kill him the way they did. Ugh.

I had to laugh at the Cadre tactics during Basic! I'll never forget the letter home that said, "Did Wall-E really die?"...I immediately wrote back and assured D that Wall-E was just fine! Mean Cadre!! :)

I hope you all enjoy Parent's Weekend!--especially YOU Mamboguy!--REAL parents for you this time!

We're biking Pike's Peak (from top to bottom--not bottom to top :) ) and I'm stunned but D wants to do the tour of Jack's Valley! I thought she'd never want to see that place again!

Enjoy your parents! It's a long time until Thanksgiving!!

I was thinking maybe "Mama Mia", but noooo, Buckaroo wants to see Batman. I hope she doesn't have a problem with taking us to Jack's, but I really don't care what she wants to do. I will do it all gladly just to spend as much time with her as possible.

The movie is better than everyone says it is.... yeah it's possible.

I'm seeing Mamma Mia! Much to the chagrin of my squad/classmates :)

missmuff - I saw the theatre production of Mama Mia five years ago! It was an absolute hoot and I can not tell you how many "older patrons" as well as all the younger moms and kids were up out of their seats dancing. Even the guys enjoyed it. It was the best fun. BUT, then, I grew up with ABBA! :)

I have not seen the movie yet. Enjoy!

Theatrical production of Mamma Mia better than movie and I love Meryl Streep but come on. She does have comedic sense though.

Wall-E was very good

I can understand the young people wanting desperately to see the new Batman movie.

bj10mom...my mom and i LOVE abba! :D

missmuff! I saw you today! Don't look so scared! lmao.

I feel intimidated when I see a Cadet CHIEF Master Sergeant... Group One Supe... But I do hear from classmates in first group and Tiger Ten that you are their favorite 2010er of them all... ;)

uh huh. I'm sure they say that....
