Ok, I am willing to pay someone who is able to get a permit but does not have a car to register their car and give me their permit, I will be VERY fair with prices. HELP ME

Do you have a valid reason to have a permit? If you’re working etc., you can petition parking services and likely be awarded a permit.

Like I said in the other thread…parking enforcement is getting very strict over the past two years or so. I had a SS permit and still was ticketed occasionally…

No, but I would assume that if I could get someone elses permit I would be able to use that with little problem, I mean personally, I could handle 2 tickets a month, not more than that though

The flaw with your plan is that it’s rather annoying to that person to then remove your car later from their registration. You have to email parking services with why you want it removed.

My daughter is going through the parking thing right now (freshman - who will be working off campus). And you must have the vehicles registration, and that must be in the same name of the person requesting the permit. So I am not sure how someone who is able (ie: a junior/senior) could get a parking permit for your car, with the car’s registration being in your name.

Students often just “give” the permit to underclassmen. This is extremely risky as if parking services chooses to scan the permit…it will clearly show a different vehicle.

I’m a freshman (resident) with a parking permit. On the back of it are some ‘rules and regulations’

So I think if someone comes around and scans it, they will assume it is from the original person.

The different vehicles need to be registered with Parking.
