The fact that you find it offensive is not my fault. This is a serious question, and I would like some serious answers.

i u would prefer to u could find parking in Manhatten

lol rushinrunner...

Although, as I said, I would not want my car for girls.

lol (woops) - I think the "blue - collar" students should understand that Columbia is Ivy League and there are gonna be rich kids there, so if Carrera_GT wants to have a car there - he should be able to...
so everyone just relax

Thanks man, I apriciate it... I just want to know what the parking situation is like at Columbia.

yea np - but apparantly - no one here really knows - because no one here actually goes there

nah...i'm just curious..is it that you are a car-mania? (I don't even know that much about expensive cars so don't get offended)

Well, there were a few here who are freshman.

Yes, I am a automotive maniac... its true, and its my only weakness. :)

(i am one too - but I am tuner starting with a 115 hp Corolla now at 165hp)
how bout that 7-speed Electronic Controlled Driver Adaptive Automatic Transmission in the new Benz's

IMO... no one has to know about cars, if they are not interested, thats cool. But I think that everyone should know how to drive a manual.

I don't understand. Why would you need two cars?

Did you put an aftermarket turbo in your Corolla. That would be cool.

I am not a huge benz fan... but that tranny is cool. I prefer the new SMG III in the new M5... its a semi-auto 7 speed with 11 different modes.

One car is an SUV (for transport of passangers, buying stuff, bad weather) and the other is a sports car. I will probobly only have one, and then switch whenever I need to.

see, I'm a Benz fan, but BMW is great too,

the SMG III is basically the same thing - its like a manual but automatic, I wouldn't call the people who buy it lazy - I'd say that they have The NEED for SPEED.

And no, I didnt put a turbo in the corolla - too expensive. - maybe I could probably buy it, but I'm saving for a new car thats gonna be sick.
I have an intake system, racing chip, and exhaust system.

Very cool.

Actually, the SMG and benz autos are totally different. The SMG is an F1 derived racing transmition that does not have a tourque converter. The Benz tranny is just a regular automatic (with torque converter) that has a manual mode, like Tiptrontic in porsche, and Steptronic in BMWs.

So you, personally, own two cars?

Well I guess you're right, but i thought the new 7-speed tranny in the new new Benz coupe is somehow different - its able to skip gears on its own and stuff

Its more technologically (sp?) advanced... but still a regular automatic.

Yes, both cars are gifts from my parents.

rushinrunner... I think you would like this :)

Now thats a hot Turbo!
