Parking options...

No, really. You don't share.

Commuter just means you drive from somewhere.

I think you're confusing commuting with carpooling.

UCLAri, why do you feel bad for me?? Just curious..

Commuting blows on so many levels. Not only do you not experience college life (especially if you live at home with the 'rents), you have to deal with not getting a parking spot if you get there too late, the stress of driving every day, not really connecting with the campus, and having problems making friends.

That's really concerns me a lot.

I've never had issues finding parking spots, and the stress thing definitely depends on how far you are. But I definitely agree with the rest.

I was looking for parking on the forums and someone posted that they have a Lot 7 permit for Fall for sale. I know it is not allowed, but can they find out easily? I need the parking pretty badly for work.

I really, really wouldn't risk it. The odds that the person will be audited/discovered are slim, but the repercussions are huge.

Also, that posting will probably be deleted pretty soon. They're very vigilent about that.

I would suggest looking into renting a space at either an apartment or in a public lot in westwood. Much, much safer.

DO NOT "trade" parking spots. If it's discovered, you run the risk of losing a lot more than just a few hundred dollars...
