parking permits?

I'm confused about the parking permits. On the website it says this:

EAD Assignment (24 hours)-Easton Avenue Deck (University Center Apartments)

(8PM-2AM)- 16,20,26,28,29,30,33, 38, and (Lot 8 closes at 11PM)
(8PM-8AM)-Lot 11,20 and College Ave deck

I'm a transfer and am living in the easton ave apartments, do I have to get the EAD 24 hour one? I don't understand how the lots can "close". Can you not leave or go in, or are you supposed to move your car? I would prefer not to pay 600 to park on the deck, but I don't get where I actually would park.

“The Rutgers University Department of Transportation Services has announced that the 2011-2012 student parking permits are now available for purchase online. Visit https://gobble.rutgers.edu/ebusiness/cmn/auth.aspx</a> for more information.”

The lots don’t close, per se. The Rutgers police just give you hefty tickets (and boy do they love to write them) if you don’t move your car to a lot that is “open” during those hours and you have an appropriate decal for. Getting the 24-hour deck one will save you a lot of money in the long run.

When I try to log in there^^, I use my netid right?

also, iwhen i do, it says

Server Error in ‘/ebusiness’ Application.

ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

should i wait and try later?

am i doin somfin wrong?

tryeece

So I would have to move my car to a different parking lot every night? That’s so stupid. If I’m living at easton can I request a parking permit for livingston or cook?
