What are the best ways to find some part time jobs on or off campus? Is is hard to find something on campus if you are not work study eligible?

check out the career center and there’s something called zotlink where people post jobs

It is not too bad. There are quite a few jobs on campus between tour guides, food places, LARC and the bookstore that don’t require work study(I think). I work on campus and don’t have work study. Like Jennifer said check out Zotlink but also just be proactive. See some place on campus where you want to work? then just go up and ask how you apply and if you need work study.

Also if you have a car, Disneyland is a great place to work(I worked there my freshman year.) You can virtually work only weekends/holidays.

you can also go across the street to the university town center which is mostly full of places to eat like yogurtland and cha for tea

I do have a car. But Disney?! Lol as long as I don’t have to put on a 40 pound mickey mouse costume and prance around under the direct sun in 94 degree heat.

Oh woops - sorry, that was me above. Was logged onto my sister’s account at that moment.

there’s also downtown disney!

Haha unless you are a short asian girl(which is entirely possible) it is unlikely you will be wearing a mickey mouse suit. I worked in attractions and spend a good chunk of my time driving a submarine, pretty fun.

Would working part-time reduce the amount of money I would receive from FAFSA the following year?

Bump. Anyone with an answer? It’d be much appreciated!

Bring up my post #2.
