<p>Hey I'm gonna be a freshman next year and I was just wondering if you have to be in a frat to party at UT. I've heard you can go to the frat parties the first week since its rush but what about for the whole year? I'm not too sure about joining a frat. I don't think I'm really the frat type.</p>

<p>If you’re not the frat type (I’m not either), there’s a lot to do on 6th Street. You’ll need to be 21 to get into most of the clubs, but you can always just get a fake ID.</p>

<p>If you are curious if you are the “frat” type and if you are in Texas, try to go to Round Up weekend, the weekend after UT’s spring break. Every frat house will be hosting an open party and you will get the feel for the Greek Life. You will either love it, hate it or it will not matter either way. The only way for you to truly know is not through rumor or reputation, but by experience.</p>
