pass/no pass or letter grade

I am going to UCSD this fall, sxith college. My major is mechanical engineering.
I am currently taking Physics 1A (same as Physics 2A in UCSD) in Pasadena City College summer session. I am wondering if it is counted as pass/no pass or letter grade.
I heard it is counted as pass/no pass grade, and it really makes me feel frustrated because my current grade is 97%. I was trying so hard and now everything is meaningless. I have no motivation now. I want it to be counted as my GPA in UCSD.
Does anyone know about this? Please help me. Thank you very much.

It doesn't really matter because your GPA resets once you transfer. You'll get credit for taking the class, but it won't be factored into your GPA if you take the class at a CC.

i took a 3-week history this summer. i though it would be hard, so i requested Pass/no Pass. But at last i got an A!!! :(

But I did not request pass/no pass. I want my grade to be counted!
What should I do?

Again, your GPA RESETS once you transfer. Any classes you take at a CC will NOT be factored into your UC GPA.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I am going to be a freshman, not junior. I go straight to UCSD from high school. Does it make a difference

UC counts a pass grade as a C

I know. But if I get an A in CC's summer session, can it be counted as my UC GPA? Again, I am not transfering. I go straight to UCSD from high school.

Wrong.

And even if you are entering as a freshman, I believe a CC class still can't be factored into your UC GPA; you will only get credit for taking the class.

I just received a letter that told me they would give me CAL GRANT A, which was $7126 the first year. In the Cal Grant B column, it says WITHDRAWN.
But I used to be eligible for Cal Grant B. Plus, my parents' income should be low enough and they never had any raises.
I remember Cal Grant B is better than Cal Grant A in a long run, because Cal Grant B gives more money after freshman year.
What happened to my Cal Grant B?
Please help me. Thank you very much

I thought Cal Grant A was better because overall it gives more money towards tuition. I know Cal Grant B helps with a variety of things including transportation, etc., but I've heard Cal Grant A was better. Also, why would it have the more stringent academic requirement (3.0 minimum GPA) if it were worse?

No. I have looked at a lot of websites and asked my friends on this subject. Cal grant B is better in a long run and it gives more money than Cal grant A. Cal grant B gives will increase each year, but Cal grant A stays the same.
