<p>I am considering sending in a transfer application next year (i'll be a sophomore at the university of minnesota) and I was interested to see what peoples college grades/gpa, etc were if they got accepted/rejected.

<p>I applied to transfer during my freshman year of college at Macaulay Honors at Hunter, coming out with a 3.86 GPA.</p>
<p>I spent a lot of time on my essays. I applied to 4 schools, so I basically copy pasta my essays for all 4 schools.</p>
<p>Around 800 applicants, Duke took in around 40, 9 of which were admitted into Pratt.</p>
<p>Even though the odds are slim, just apply to every school you want to go to. You’ll be so happy if things work out for you.</p>

<p>I absolutely love the school I’m at now. I was deferred from Duke last year, and had a full ride on NROTC, but decided not to pursue it (as in writing another essay, calling admission counselors, etc) because I didn’t want to do NROTC and I realized i couldnt afford it. So i wouldn’t want to transfer anywhere BUT Duke, but i realized taking out loans wouldnt be out of the question. So its only about transferring to duke, otherwise i dont wanna leave my school.</p>
