Maddie – you really think that is going to tamp down all these good conspiracy theories? Come on…you know us better than that! : )

We all know the website has the party line that DHS/PTA go out by the “end of February.” But we also all know that they usually go out sooner than that. In 2013, Jeff S did a blog post on 2/20 saying the packages were going out then. So give us some scoop (to the extent you are allowed) on these questions:

  1. Does Jeff plan to announce the mail date via a blog post this year like he has in the past?
  2. Do the winners get notified by snail mail, email or both?
  3. When and how do the non-winners get notified?
  4. What's the schedule for CSF and Stamps?

@northwesty Wow. What a way to encourage. I truly hope all of you (or your children) get great news from Tulane and any other schools you applied to. These are great kids who’ve worked hard, and they all deserve it! I do not know what the mailing will be, but I hope it’s good news for us, just as I hope that good news arrives for all of you. Hi everyone. D applied for DHS. I set up a UPS account for her yesterday and there was nothing so I figured it was a no. I checked back again an hour ago and there was a package from Tulane Admissions scheduled for delivery on Thursday afternoon that was set up this afternoon and hasn’t even been picked up yet. So obviously they are sending them out in batches if that’s in fact what it is. Good luck everyone!

One more thing…if you create the UPS account make sure you use the name as it appears on Gibson

I have one coming the day after tomorrow? Still a 1lb package from Tulane Admissions. Fingers crossed! I only applied for DHS but I assume it’s the same notification process.

My UPS account got updated today. It says a package from Tulane will be arriving on Thursday. I applied for both the DHS and the Paul Tulane Award, so hopefully one worked out! My Gibson did not change at all, no award updates or anything.

I set up a USPS account. Now I realize I need a UPS account? No packages from USPS. Please advise.

@skeptile go to tracking and select “Access UPS My Choice.” There should be a calendar that shows up! However, yours probably won’t show anything right away because you just created the account. Stay hopeful! Wishing you luck

@Harryp17 - Don’t get too discouraged just yet. TulaneMaddie said until the end of the month, so hopefully they are getting sent out in batches. If I remember you had great stats. Chin up! I hope you get it! (Coming from someone that hasn’t gotten a notice either. )
