In the summer checklist, it says that we have to pay the tuition bill by July 9. I would like to pay it all today but I don't know how. my.fordham.edu is super confusing, seriously. Where do I go on the portal if I want to pay the tuition? Perhaps by wire transfer?

Not sure why you want to do that…but if you call the Bursar’s Office, they will tell you how to do that. Make absolutely certain you put your student ID number on any payment so it is properly applied.

Hi. Go to myfordham.edu

Under the Fordham University banner at the top of the screen, on the left, there will be tabs for Home, Student, Course Evaluations and Alumni

Click on the one labeled Student.

Now there should be three columns. Furthest to the left it says “My Account” This means your finanical account. Click on Make a Payment

You will then go to a screen that asks for Registration Term. You want Fall 2013

Then you will ge a screen that says Pay by Check or Payment Plan. I think you want pay by check

That will take you to another screen, which will say amount due, and then you can proceed to Make A Payment and you will get prompts to put in your ABA routing number and account number (so have a check handy).

However, before you do this, you might want to go back to MY ACCOUNT and click on Statement and Payment and review charges. I have not had a problem with charges, but I think this is a good idea. It will remind students and parents if there is a charge for excess credits, etc.

Thank you very much!

Be aware that some of the credits you get, particularly any Fordham grants come in later…and if you overpay, you wont get a refund for a long time.

We still don’t see my daughter’ Financial Aid on her student tab (she will be a sophomore.)

glass:

It didnt go away. Same thing happened to us. They are just incredibly slow (and insensitive) for returning students. It will be approximately the same as last year, unless you had significant changes in your financial situation.

In the February mailing on Financial Aid it says that if you have completed the all forms etc… by April 6th you will be notified by July 15th 2013. Waiting for ours also… (and actually still waiting for a dorm …in “post Lottery”)
Guess they have to work on the Freshman first…

Oh that’s so interesting-- last year the freshmen were required to pay by July 9th (which is why incessantworry mentioned that date). I thought it was quite extremely early. I guess jraza is right-- they take care of Freshmen first. An odd way of operating, but a relief to hear that’s how it is.

There is flexibility in paying…also. The key is to be paid up by move in day. Just let them know what is going on if you need more time.

fyi - my financial aid in now posted…
