Paying for out of state

So basically for my education at Alabama (which will happen if I dont get into UGA), It is going to run me about $20,240 per year:

Semester: (Out-of-State)
Tuition: $6,758.00
Fees: $100.00
Room, Double Occupancy: $1,560.00
160 Meals per semester: $952.00
Dining Dollars: $300.00
Books and Supplies $450.00
Total: $10,120.00

I missed the deadline for scholarships, but my stats are:
GPA: 3.4 (All honors/AP)
SAT: 1240
Dual Seal w/ distinction diploma
Lots of ec’s and stuff

my parents are both middle class (I’ll say around $100k/year), but I live with my dad and he did my fafsa. Id also like to say that Im not a minority.

my parents are offering to pay $14,000 of the $20,000 I need to go, but so yeah I still $6,000 under. Im saving money now, but I know Ill need that for spending money for for food, everyday stuff, ect.

Will I really be paying this $20k or will I get some kind of aid or something? The last thing I want to do is take out a student loan and get into a lot of debt like my parents, cousins, uncles, ect.

I will if I have to though, Alabama is my big #2.
Will I get any aid at all?

Also: ive applied for over 10 outside scholarships so far, but what are my chances of getting those? None.

Alabama is terrible with financial aid. It's mostly Stafford loans if you get any. Sorry.

Good luck! I'm out of state as well, but I caught the deadline.

Freshman year might be a little rough money wise, but your sophomore year and on, as long as you keep your grades up, you can apply for undergraduate specific scholarships.

Just make sure you stay on top of things.

Where are you from?

Georgia. I want to try and get alabama citizenship if I go.
