Payment Code/CSS Profile

<p>With a February 1 deadline, I have finalized and submitted my daughter's FAFSA application to two colleges. Then after spending an inordinate amount of time on that and then the CSS Profile I reached the end of the CSS only to find it requires the payment code for each school along with their CSS code. </p>

<p>I have the CSS codes, but I cannot locate the payment codes. I am assuming that is provided by contacting the schools directly but its not entirely clear in those areas I've searched.</p>

<p>Wondering if anyone has experienced this before. The two schools are Hobart & William Smith College and Ithaca College.</p>

<p>I believe a payment code is if you have fee waivers for the CSS Profile. I assume you would qualify for a fee waiver based on your information since the payment code question popped up. (It has never shown up on mine so I assume it will only pop up if you are eligible)</p>

<p>OR - it may be that the colleges you are applying to offer waivers.</p>
