Hi everyone! I applied ED and i’m really nervous about getting a decision. PC has been my top choice for a long time and I don’t know if i have a good chance of getting accepted or not.
GPA UW: 3.1 (struggled with math all throughout HS)
First Quarter Average: 92.02
I hope sending my first quarter grades will show i’m improving as a student and not slacking off!
- A lot of volunteer service for over 3 years at a local Rebabilitation Hospital
- Received a Bronze Presidents Volunteer Service Award (124 hours total)
- Uplifted to Volunteer Leader of the program
- Been a competitive dancer since i was 3 years old
- Taking a College level Early Childhood Education course my senior year and will also be doing a 12 week student teaching experience ( i want to be a elementary school teacher)
- I work at an after school daycare 3 times a week
- I’ve been to campus 2 times, April 2017 for campus tour/ info session and went back for an interview on October 7th 2017 (which went very well) and also went for a 2nd campus tour and info session
- 2nd generation to attend PC, Uncle graduated in 1986
- I’ve also been emailing my admissions counselor back and forth for several months so she gets to know a little more about me and my interest in Providence
I really hope to hear back great news! I am not getting my hopes too high because i know how competitive PC is, but i would love to know if i have a chance of getting accepted, thanks!
