Hi there, I'm almost positive that I'm going to attend Earlham this fall and I've been looking at the Peace and Global Studies major and I had a few questions:
1. What is the strength of the PAGS program?
2. Is it a good major for a future law student (I'm looking into possibly becoming a human rights lawyer)?
3. Can someone compare and contrast the PAGS and politics programs?
Thanks!

You can contact some of the PAGS faculty there with your questions. I’m sure they’ve helped lots of other students before you with these same questions. The profs at this college are very welcoming and helpful, even if you don’t yet attend there. Just ask!

When my kid visited last year and had an office chat with the department head for one of the two majors she’s pursuing there now, he found out about some research she was doing. He immediately put her in contact with another prof on campus as a potential mentor for her research. He also asked a senior student to connect with my kid about some similar research she was doing for her senior capstone. That senior emailed her own research stuff to my kid that very day so she could see some of the similarities. (Loosely related topic about similar events 30 years apart) My kid was shocked they all had made such an effort to help her out and she made her final college decision that same night.
