Hi. I am an international student, residing in Korea. I am currently waitlisted at 4 schools, indeed including Peddie, one of my top priorities. Does anybody know anything about the situation going around in Peddie? For example, if they are going to their WL or not, their yield rate or the number of students enrolled or even the past stats.

Hi @Bantisse! I am also waitlisted at Peddie. I am not so sure either, but I know the enrollment date has passed. Right around the corner, Peddie should notify us whether we are off the waitlist or not because now they know how many people enrolled, and how many they can take off the waitlist. In addition, the number of people taken off the waitlist all depends on the number of students who enroll. I hope this helps and good luck!

Hi @Bantisse. I called the Peddie school, and they told us that they will inform whether we are off the waitlist or not by June 1. Other than that, I’m not sure what’s going on with Peddie and if they still have any spots left. Good luck!
Since it’s July, do you think peddie would be accepting anyone off their waitlist anymore?
I’m sorry to break it to you, but at this point, they are probably filled up. Parents have already deposited their money, and it would require a miracle for a spot to open up when August is just around the corner
Many of the schools have payments due August 1 so some shakeup might happen around that time.

Well, Peddie sent an email to waitlisted candidates, if they still want to be in the waitlist pool for the Summer. The Admissions team claim that they “cannot be very encouraging about available spaces opening up” but still there might be some shakeups.
Also, when I called them a month ago, the AOs said that they would not be taking students off the waitlist until July, so… let’s see!
Payments are due in July.
