Accepted in Peddie and Kent
waitlisted in Choate

I am hesitating between Peddie and Kent. Peddie is raked the 17th and Kent the 30th. I guess is not about rankings but where do I fit the best. The question is that I am un certain, witch school will help me archieve my best.
Does anyone out there has any reviews about PG year in both schools.

About me: I will be an international student. I like biology and I am not that much into sports

Hello, thanks for answering. I guess you are currently attending Kent. Is this your first year?
How is dorms life? making new friends? are academics difficult. Oh, please let me how is your life in Kent and what should I expect in my PG year.

My friend goes to Peddie, and overall he thinks it is a very good school. However, the roommate situation is terrible. The first roommate he had blasted music at 11:30 at night and even stole his pocketknife. After he had enough of this roommate, my friend opted to switch roommates. Unfortunately, my friend’s next roommate was even worse. He screamed at my friend for no reason when having debates. I have an even more serious and humorous example of my friend’s roommate woes. In math, sometimes my friend had to solve a problem using a five-stage method. One of the stages was the model stage. My friend explained what the model stage was to his roommate, who then got infuriated. In fact, my friend’s roommate tried to tell my friend he did not even know what the model stage was even though he himself did not know. In fact, he screamed so much that the doom supervisor had to cool him down. When the dorm supervisor left, he started screaming again. My friend even tells me that his roommate sings classical music in his sleep.

Peddie is a really great school! They’ve been improving a lot, and they have a new science building which looks awesome (and has really good facilities), and that should be good since you’re interested in biology =P The community at Peddie is really great, they will definitely help you achieve your best =)

Don’t give up on Choate though, Choate is a great school!
