<p>I'm going to be taking chem 3a in the summer but I'm not sure if i should take chem 3b in the fall with vollhardt (who i heard does not teach as well) or should i wait till spring and take chem with pederson? What are the two professor's like in terms of teaching style, lectures, helpfulness, tests, etc.</p>
<p>Pedersen is pretty good. He’s a very good, clear, and organized lecturer. He also supplies you with dozens of his old midterms and finals so you know exactly what’s coming. </p>
<p>I’ve never had Vollhardt but apparently he’s pretty bad.</p>
<p>Pedersen > 3 * Vollhardt</p>
