I have heard that Pederson is MUCH better but is Vollhardt
really THAT bad??? Is he really THAT hard? How do these
two professors compare with Frechet?</p>
<p>Frechet and Vollhardt are similar in terms of difficulty and style of exam question. I think people say Vollhardt is bad because he uses powerpoint and his lectures are incredibly boring. For o-chem it's just much easier to follow the material as the instructor draws on the board instead of using powerpoint. </p>
<p>As far as grading is concerned, according to thecampusbuddy Vollhardt actually gives more A/A+ than Pederson does. But I don't think either one is harder than the other anyway. No matter who teaches, in a class like this it's all about beating 3 out of 4 of your peers.</p>
<p>But yeah both Vollhardt and Pederson can't compare with Frechet, he is THE ****!!!!</p>
