<p>I’m usually more blunt: what can another hs kid on a forum tell you about the validity of your essay or whether it is on track, well done, going to impress adcoms? They haven’t even sent off an app yet, much less gotten accepted anywhere. Add to that most hs kids only have experience writing hs papers, which emphasize structure, thesis, defense, etc. So, be aware, that’s all. Double that advice considering the colleges on your list. <p>Thanks for the advice…I actually just realized how true that is, especially because those who have read my essay have commented on the rigid “research paper” like tone
