Peer Evaluation

I know it's advised to stay away from adults, especially teachers, but do you think I can still have a teacher write my Peer Evaluation? I do consider him a friend and I am honest with him quite a lot. I share a lot of my views with him, both in and out of class. Even though I participate a lot in his class, I still talk to him a bit outside of the classroom. If not, then I still have a couple other people who aren't teachers (or academic authority figures) in mind. I just want to know if you think asking this particular person is a good idea. I mean, I've shown opinions and sides of myself to him that I haven't shown the teachers writing my LOR (or any other teacher in my school, for that matter. In fact, I haven't shown those sides to a lot of my friends). And I do feel a vibe of friendship whenever I see him, if that helps anything.

No! Have someone your approximate age write it. That is the point.

Lol ok. He was just a plan c anyways. Besides, he’s only like ten years older than me lol

Don’t do it; the person should definitely not be a teacher and should be closer in age.

I would, however, ask the teacher to write a normal teacher recommendation; since he knows you so well, I’m sure it will be great.
