I have been awarded a Pell Grant for my next semester. It won't cover my expenses and I was thinking about a Stafford Loan. If I accept the loan, will my tuition still be paid from the Pell Grant? Would accepting the Stafford Loan be a good decision?

Yes, the school won’t reduce your Pell Grant if you’re getting the Direct Loans.

It sounds like you’re starting college in the spring. If so, then the Stafford amount that you get will be misleading for future years. You’ll get $5500 in loan money. But, next year, when you go to school for both semesters, you’ll get your student loan SPLIT in half, so next fall you’ll only get $2750. So, work over the summer and save some of that spring loan money.
