i;ve been looking everywhere to find what the efc is to be eligible for the pell grant yet i haven't found a definitive answer. when my efc was 3656 i knew i was elgible but now its 4106 and i'm worried because one place said 3800 and another said 4111 so does anyone know the correct efc for the pell grant.

According to the Pell grant distribution table at the IFAP web site the maximum EFC for eligibility for Pell for 2008-2009 is 4041. It was 4110 last year but appears to have gone down (which is strange as the Pell grant itself has gone up).

SCM: I believe I heard the amount went up, but it was only partially funded, so it went down overall, though is in the same ballpark
