what does your efc has to be to e eligible for pell.

Her is the 2008-2009 Pell grant distribution table
http://www.ifap.ed.gov/dpcletters/attachments/P0801Attach2008paysched2.pdf

According to the table your EFC must be 4041 to qualify for a reduced grant of $890. After that the lower your EFC the higher your Pell. EFC of 0 gets the max Pell of $4731

i still haven't figured the chart out but my efc is 3656

The first part of the chart is for full time students. Find your EFC across the top of the chart. Follow the cloumn down to where your the COA (cost of attendance for your school) row meets the EFC column.

So if you are a full time student with and EFC of 3656 your EFC column would be 3601-3700. if your school COA is over 4241 (most are) then your Pell grant should be $1081

If you are part time you would use the chart for the appropriate enrollment - 3/4 time, 1/2 time, less than half time

thx 4 the help
