for those of you who have an efc, go to ifap.ed.gov. you will find it listed under "worksheets, schedules and tables" at the site.

it will tell you the total amount of pell you will receive for the year according to your efc and the cost of attendance at your school.

if you don't know your COA, you could always ask your financial aid officer, however the majority of us will use the range of 4241-99999, which is located at the bottom of the chart (it's a pdf file).

of course take the yearly amount and divide by 2. you will get the amount of pell per semester.

oops i forgot. there are 4 pages to this: full time, 3/4 time, half time, and less than half time. please use the chart that applies to the number of credits. for example follow the following chart:

12 or more credits--full time
9-11 credits--3/4 time
6-8 credits--half time
1-6 credits--less than half time
