Pen or Pencil for the AP Chemistry FRQ

<p>Are we supposed to do the FRQ in pen or pencil since I know for other exams it is required that you use pen? Also, are we allowed to go back and work on the first 3 FRQ questions in the last 40-minute no calculator testing period?</p>

<p>You can use pencil, and you can go back to work on the first 3 FRQ questions but you cannot use a calculator, so do all the calculations first before any descriptive parts in Section II Part A.</p>

<p>Either pen or pencil is acceptable for the Chem FRQ section.</p>

<p>You can work on all 6 FRQ’s during the non-calculator period. As you can probably imagine, you can’t use a calculator during that time.</p>
