My bio teahcer is giving out extra credit, but it's not enough to save my grade. :( 70% is a C It is too high for a hard class.

It's already on the record:(
3.Yes, it's a bio class too. altho it's the easy version of the class that I'm failing, but it sucks my time.

Hey, so does this class affect your UCSD admission as well?

I'm a biochem and cell bio major in SD, the class I'm failing is a molecular bio class. :( And for UCD, I got in the same major as SD, that molecular bio class isn't on their major prep list at all, but I found out UCD'S adcom required me to get a B for this!!! You can see how important that class is. I feel so stressful right now.

Get a good night sleep (8 hrs?) every night starting now and study really hard everyday to pull yourself out of this! Is this the first time you've had a bad semester? I hear bio/premed is very competitive...you've got to be consciously on your toes all the time.

I had a very bad semester 2 years ago, but the classes I failed were not major-related. Yes, I really have to work my a** out. tAnyway, thx for your opinion! I'll try to bug my bio teacher to make the next exam has more points.

shirley, be very careful. Try your hardest to get that C. If this class is a prereq and you end up dropping it, I can almost guarantee they'll withdraw your admission.

does anyone know how to check the application update form, I can't remember if I updated my classes correctly.

I dont think there is a way to check it. You should just call them and make sure they have the correct information

Ya thats what i'm doing right now, I've been on hold for 30 minutes

Good luck kevintech & shirley!

Thanks highschoolda and Bryan. I'm gonna try to get a letter from Gushansky and send them a copy of my summer schedule and basically let them know that my year of bio will be completed for sure. A guy last year didnt have calculus and claimed to have it done by summer and got his appeal approved. So back to the waiting room for me haha.

Hey Kevintech goodluck with UCLA man. I see that your dedicated man. Don't give up on UCLA. Maybe we will meet there one day.

My wait is over for now...

I was scared b/c the subject of the email was "Provisional Problem Form"

But the wait will be begin again once i tell them that i do not plan on taking physics 8 in the summer... :(

Thanks sandkicks. And yeah, I'm very dedicated to UCLA. I've been wanting to go there every since I started at this community college but general biology just ddint turn out to be finished this spring. I was stupid and took higher courses for my major when i didnt have the "core" ones. So I hope the appeal gets approved. If not, I'll be taking classes part time next year and re-applying.

highschoolda, are you reporting another change to your work in progress?
