Pending after notifying UCLA of a dropped class.

Notified last friday. 4-28.

Waiting...

said might take up to 15 working days, which takes me to almost finals week.. Ouch i hope it doesn't take that long

I'm waiting for your good news... what course did you drop?

bio which is not required for IGETC or major prep... we'll c what happens.

oooh, me too. i logged in today and found the page changed.
i'm not holding my breath to get in, but i'm still hoping for the best. :)
good luck, highschoolda! well, good luck to all of us!

r u actually pending on the UCLA admission website? or just pending from what they said?

ugh.. im pending right now and even if i get in i'll need to update and be pending agian.

I am awaiting their response... They said they will review my app again comprehensively and let me know... I am assuming they will send me an email(?)

buerre, which site had changed for u?

not actually "pending", i guess. but, on ucla's admission site they have a similar msg. to this (their email confirmation) -

"The academic changes you reported online have been received.
We will review your changes in the context of your overall record, and will let you know whether they affect your admission within 15 working days. In some cases, your offer of admission may be withdrawn."

buerre, are u referring to the message that u get once u log in to the decisions page? B/c it still gives me the congrats message.

Is it different for u?

In my opinion, I think it would have been better to have wait for the decisions to come out for non-prereq and non-igetc changes or any other changes that would not affect your eligibility.

I was in a similiar situation with UCB because i dropped 1 bio class and switched humanities classes. After i got accepted, I called ad officer (we get personal ad officers to contact) and told her that i couldn't get into the class for bio and schedule conflicted with other humanities course. She said its no problem because they didn't not in any way affect my eligibility and so she changed it right over the phone.

Do you guys have any idea what might affect your eligibility? I emailed UCLA about incorrect work information on my application.

I am kinda confused re: what u mean.

highschoolda, my admission/decisions page changed today. I sent in the changes last wed.

nikkei, i believe all changes could affect eligibility. keep in mind some are more serious than others.

hmm, was it normal yesterday? And today it changed? Thats kinda odd...

I am just concerned that mine didn't change.

Should I still send in my SIR if I'm waiting to hear if my application changes will affect my eligibility?

i did it the first day i got accepted and paid the 100 bucks deposit. Now i found out it's non refundable. So, if they take away my admission, not only will i be devastated but also 100 dollars poorer. :(

I think you will be ok. if the class is not a preq and it doesnt affect your 60 units, it shouldnt matte.r

Do you know by any chance if you HAVE to do your planned work?

highschoolda, i hadn't checked it since friday. so? although, i believe ucla admissions was closed for the weekend.

Yes. Otherwise report the chagnes in coursework and hope it doesn't affect your admission.
