<p>So, to start up some conversation: how’s school for you guys? Busy? What classes/subjects do you enjoy most?</p>
<p>not busy but ssshhhh dont tell colleges that lol i mean i have some tough classes but i’m tryin to stay calm and relaxed. last stretch of high school and i wanna enjoy myself 
heres to senioritis</p>
<p>ive been hit hard with senioritis. the only class that i cant succumb to senioritis would be calc and french. ugh decision day seems SO far away… =(</p>

<p>Is anyone else missing a “Counselor Recommendation” on their portal? Or even knows what a “Counselor Recommendation” is, or where to find the form? o.o</p>
<p>(You’re taking 8 classes, nluu?? The most we can take here is 7, and there’s this stupid rule that says if 6 of your classes are honors/AP, the 7th has to be free period/study hall/arts class)</p>

<p>@wangatang, i sent my app in on the 29th and got my email on the 4th. </p>
<p>@canaryk, theyre still sorting out papers so it could be that they just didnt get to update your portal yet. though, im not sure if theyre talking about the actual rec form or the thing you do on the common app website where you choose what teachers youll get your rec letter stuff from. my counselor recommendation form is in, but my teacher recommendations arent. but i know my counselor sent her’s and my teachers’ together, so im assuming they just didnt get done sorting yet. hope this helps!</p>
<p>Thankfully I have Christmas break now until the 20th of Jan, but it’s not fun at all cause I’m studying for the Jan subject tests all day long :(</p>

<p>I am technically only allowed 7 classes, but I’m taking an independent study class for another subject and so have extra work outside of the 7 classes.</p>

<p>Thanks dontstopbelieving, although I’m still concerned because I don’t know if I even sent in a counselor recommendation… I sent in a secondary school report, which I thought was the same thing, because it looked like the teacher recommendation form except for that it said “counselor” on the top. And I don’t recall ever seeing a “counselor recommendation form”. Was it part of commonapp?</p>
<p>I have five AP classes, and a music class on the side. We can only take seven classes total, and we have to petition to be able to take a sixth. T__T’’ Even so, it’s tough to balance everything with ECs, homework, life, etc.</p>

<p>Wait, you know what just occurred to me? Nelesy, assuming that your classes are sort of like my classes, how on earth do you have time for anything outside of school??? Does anyone at your school play a sport? o.o</p>

<p>OMG INTERVIEWS ***, I’ve gotten no contact about interviews at all. It’s ridiculous; I turned in my Duke interview in November and there are people who turned it in like Dec. 9th who interviewed A WEEK AGO. So lame.</p>
