<p>No and that sucks the most…particularly with the thought of having to do transfer apps aka having to go through this mentally demeaning frenzy all over again. In where I come from if you don’t hit HYPSMC or Columbia/Penn/Cornell (yes, not even Duke or Dartmouth etc) people view you as ‘fleeing’ away only because you weren’t able to enter the local universities (well bollocks, I hold an offer for the most prestigious program in our local #1 uni but the education system in my hometown simply sucks like s*** compared to the US). My parents are strongly opposed to spend their decades of hard earned cash on my education in a non-ivy institution for this reason…this sucksssssssssssss for me</p>
