Does Penn take your highest score in each subject like they do with the SAT? I’m trying to decide whether I should send both my ACT scores. They have my best composite and my score on the writing portion, but on a second testing, my composite went down and my math score went up by a couple points. M&T/SEAS, so I think they’d like to see the higher math score, but I’m not sure if they’ll look at it. Would they take that higher score in math, or can I be hurt by the fact that 3/4 of my scores on this second testing went down?

They take the highest scores in each section for both the SAT and the ACT. "You can never do worse, you can only improve," was what my regional admissions officer said, concerning standardized test scores, during an info session.

Excellent! I'm off to make the best $13 investment of my life.
